SINOPSIS
Eze aprende a escribir: La letra debe medir un paso de ancho y un brazo de alto. La palabra tiene que leerse desde la distancia veloz de una autopista. El color se encargará del resto, identificar el nombre pintado en el muro con un partido político. Durante la campaña, toda superficie vacante de la ciudad será disputada por las cuadrillas especializadas en pintadas por encargo, y todo hábil letrista será pretendido por la brigada rival. En las vísperas de la veda política, últimas horas en que está permitido pintar, Eze encarnará con destreza la propaganda de múltiples candidatos, explorando los límites de este juego de representación.
Eze is learning to write: The letter has to be one step wide and one arm high. The word has to be legible from the fast distance of a highway. Color will do the rest, identifying the name with the political party painted on the wall. During the campaign, every free space in the city will be disputed by the crews specialized in commission political graffiti, and every skillful lettering artist will be demanded by the rival crew. On the eve of election silence, the final hours when painting is allowed, Eze will expertly embody several candidates’ propaganda, exploring the limits of this game of representation.
